Frequently asked questions
What does RallyMatchup do?
It creates the matchups for a social session: who plays with whom, on which court, in every round. Then it keeps the scores and standings, and can share them live with players.
How many players and courts can I use?
Doubles formats need at least 4 players; round robins need at least 2 teams. There is no practical upper limit for a club session. If players don’t fill every court, sit-outs rotate so nobody rests more than once more than anyone else.
How fair are the rotations?
Sit-outs never differ by more than one between players. The engine avoids repeat partners first and repeat opponents second. In long sessions some repeats become unavoidable, and the schedule summary tells you when there are none.
Can players see the schedule on their phones?
Yes. Press “Start live event” to get a link and QR code. Players see their court and the live standings without installing anything. Only the organizer’s device can enter scores.
Is RallyMatchup free? Do I need an account?
It is free and needs no account. Sessions are saved on your device; live events are stored online for 90 days after their last update.
