How the schedule is built
RallyMatchup uses the classic circle method. One team stays in place while the others rotate, which guarantees every pair of teams meets exactly once. With an odd number of teams, one team rests each round. When there are more matches in a round than courts, the round is split into waves. The order rotates so the same teams don't always wait.

Example: 6 teams on 3 courts
Six teams play 5 rounds of 3 games, 15 games in total, and every team plays 5 games. Rec round robins usually play games to 11, win by 2, which fits about 15–20 minutes per round.
Want new partners every game instead of fixed teams? Use the pickleball mixer. For tips on running the day, read how to run a pickleball round robin.
